1. Overview

This Billing Policy explains how subscriptions to THOR are billed: the free trial, prices and taxes, automatic renewal, your right of withdrawal, refunds, cancellation and what happens if a payment fails.

THOR is published by Phoenix Technologies, a French société par actions simplifiée (SAS) with a share capital of 1,000 euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 938 548 112 (RCS Paris), VAT number FR31938548112, registered office at 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France. Phoenix Technologies is a software publisher: THOR copies the user's own orders between the user's own trading accounts only, and Phoenix Technologies provides no investment service within the meaning of article L321-1 of the French Monetary and Financial Code.

This policy supplements our Terms of Service. If anything in this policy appears to conflict with the Terms of Service on a billing matter, the provision most favourable to you as a consumer applies. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces your statutory rights, in particular the legal guarantee of conformity and the right of withdrawal described below.

A French version of this policy is available at /politique-facturation. For consumers residing in France, the French version prevails.

Risk Warning

Trading futures and CFDs involves a high risk of loss. These are leveraged products: leverage amplifies losses as well as gains, and losses on futures can exceed your initial deposit. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results. THOR is an automation tool only: using it does not reduce these risks and does not improve trading results. See our full Risk Disclaimer.

2. Free Trial

Every new THOR subscription starts with a 14-day free trial:

  • A payment card is required at signup, but nothing is charged during the trial.
  • You have full access to THOR for the entire trial period.
  • You can cancel at any time before the trial ends, at no cost, from your account settings. If you cancel during the trial, you will never be charged.
  • If you do not cancel, the first charge takes place at the end of the trial, on the plan you selected (monthly or yearly). The exact date of this first charge is shown on the Stripe checkout page before you confirm your order, and in your order confirmation.

3. Prices and Taxes

THOR is sold as a subscription, billed in US dollars (USD) through our payment provider Stripe:

  • Monthly plan: USD 39 per month, excluding VAT.
  • Yearly plan: USD 351 per year, excluding VAT (the equivalent of nine monthly payments for twelve months of service).

Value added tax (VAT) is calculated according to your country and is displayed on the Stripe checkout page before you confirm payment, so the total amount of your order, including VAT, is visible before you confirm your subscription.

Because billing is in USD, your card issuer may apply its own exchange rate and conversion fees if your card account is held in another currency. These fees are set by your bank, not by Phoenix Technologies.

Current prices are always shown on the pricing section of our website.

4. Automatic Renewal

THOR subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle:

Monthly Subscriptions

Your subscription renews every month on the same day of the month as your first charge (or on the last day of the month, for months with fewer days), and your card is charged the monthly price agreed when you subscribed.

Yearly Subscriptions

Your subscription renews every year on the anniversary of your first charge, and your card is charged the yearly price agreed when you subscribed.

Price changes: if we change the price of your plan, we will inform you individually, with reasonable prior notice, before the renewal at which the new price would apply, and you remain free to cancel before that renewal. No new price is ever charged without this prior information.

You can cancel at any time before the renewal date, directly from your account settings. Cancellation stops all future renewals; you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for (see section 7).

5. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

If you subscribe as a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal under French law: you may withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 days from the day the contract is concluded (article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code).

Contractual extension: because every THOR subscription begins with a 14-day free trial, the statutory window would normally close before you have paid anything. Phoenix Technologies therefore extends it: for any subscription taken with the free trial, you may exercise your right of withdrawal until 14 days after the first payment. If you withdraw within this extended window, the first payment is refunded in full.

To withdraw, simply send us any unambiguous statement of your decision before the deadline, for example by email to [email protected] or by post to Phoenix Technologies, 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France. You may, but are not required to, use the model form below.

If you withdraw, we will refund all payments received from you, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree to a different means; in any event the refund costs you nothing (article L221-24 of the French Consumer Code).

Model Withdrawal Form

(Model form provided for in article R221-1 of the French Consumer Code. Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

To Phoenix Technologies, 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France, [email protected]:

I/We (*) hereby notify you of my/our (*) withdrawal from the contract for the provision of the following service:

Ordered on (*)/received on (*):

Name of consumer(s):

Address of consumer(s):

Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper):

Date:

(*) Delete as appropriate.

6. Refunds

Refunds are due in the following cases:

  • Valid withdrawal: if you exercise your right of withdrawal within the applicable window (see section 5), all sums paid are refunded within 14 days, by the same means of payment.
  • Legal guarantee of conformity: THOR is a digital service covered by the legal guarantee of conformity (articles L224-25-12 and following of the French Consumer Code). The guarantee applies throughout the period during which the service is supplied. If the service does not conform to the contract, you may require it to be brought into conformity, free of charge; if that is impossible, is refused, or does not occur within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, or if the lack of conformity is sufficiently serious to justify it immediately, you may obtain a proportionate price reduction or terminate the contract with the corresponding refund.
  • Termination by Phoenix Technologies without breach on your part: if we terminate your subscription or discontinue the service for a reason not attributable to you, we refund the unused portion of the period you have already paid for, on a pro-rata basis.
  • Billing errors: any amount charged in error is refunded in full.
  • Any other case required by law: in particular, if the pre-renewal information required by article L215-1 of the French Consumer Code has not been provided to you, you may terminate the renewed contract free of charge at any time from the renewal date, and sums you have paid covering the period after termination are refunded within 30 days (articles L215-1 and L215-3 of the French Consumer Code).

Outside these cases, subscription periods that have already started are not refunded pro-rata when you cancel: instead, you keep full access to the service until the end of the period you have paid for, and no further charge is made.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel your THOR subscription at any time from your account settings, in a few clicks, or by contacting our support team at [email protected]. Cancellation is free and stops all future renewals. Cancellation requests sent by email take effect on the day we receive them.

What Happens When You Cancel

You keep full access to THOR until the date on which your next renewal was scheduled to occur.

For example:

  • If you have a monthly subscription that renews on the 15th of each month and you cancel on the 5th, you keep full access until the 15th.
  • If you have a yearly subscription and you cancel 3 months into your subscription year, you keep full access for the remaining 9 months, until your renewal date.

After cancellation, you can still:

  • Disconnect accounts: for as long as your access continues, disconnect any trading accounts or integrations linked to your THOR account.
  • Manage your account: for as long as your access continues, log in to review and manage your account information.
  • Control your data: at any time, including after your access has ended, request the deletion of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Payment Failures

If a renewal payment fails (for example because your card has expired or lacks funds), Stripe automatically retries the charge over the following days.

If payment still cannot be collected, we may suspend your access to the service until payment is completed.

There are no hidden fees: we never charge late fees, reactivation fees or any other amount beyond the subscription price and applicable VAT displayed at checkout.

9. Consumer Mediation

If a written complaint sent to [email protected] remains unresolved for one month, or is rejected, you may, as a consumer, refer the dispute free of charge to the consumer mediator (médiateur de la consommation) (article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code). Phoenix Technologies is finalising the designation of its consumer mediator; the mediator's identity and contact details will be published on this page as soon as the designation is complete.
