Common questions

Do I need to be a Thor customer to join?
No. You don't need a Thor subscription. The affiliate program is open to anyone — content creators, community owners, prop-firm partners, newsletter writers, or anyone who thinks Thor would be useful to traders they know. Just fill out the signup form with your name, email, PayPal email, country, and your preferred link code, and we'll email you login credentials for your affiliate dashboard. If you are already a Thor customer, your existing account already includes affiliate access — just sign in.
How are referrals attributed to me?
Every click on your personal link (thortradecopier.com/t/yourcode) is tracked server-side. When that visitor signs up and starts a subscription, the referral is attributed to your affiliate account automatically.
When exactly is my commission credited?
Automatically, the moment your referred customer's invoice is paid on their side. No claim form, no approval step, no manual process. You'll see the commission land in your affiliate balance the same day the referral pays — tracked row-by-row in the Earnings tab of your dashboard.
How do I actually get paid out?
Payouts are sent via PayPal only, to the verified PayPal email on your affiliate profile. The minimum payout threshold is $100 USD, and we process one payout per calendar month. If your approved balance is below $100 at the end of a cycle, it rolls over to the next month.
What happens if my referral cancels?
You earn commissions for every invoice your referral has actually paid. If they cancel later, previously-credited commissions stay yours — you simply stop earning new ones from that customer. Refunds and chargebacks are handled per the program terms.
Can I promote on YouTube, Discord, X, or my newsletter?
Yes — all organic channels work great. Videos, posts, newsletters, community announcements, streams: all fine. As long as your marketing is honest (no guaranteed-profit claims, no misleading screenshots) and you comply with local affiliate-disclosure laws, share your link wherever your audience lives.
Can I run paid ads to promote my affiliate link?
No. Paid advertising is strictly forbidden. You may not run Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads, TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads, X/Twitter Ads, or any other paid traffic source to promote your affiliate link. You also may not bid on Thor, Thor Trade Copier, Phoenix Technologies, or any variation/misspelling as a keyword on any ad network. Violations result in commission forfeiture and termination from the program. See the Affiliate Program Terms for the full list of prohibited marketing practices.
Is there a minimum payout threshold?
Yes. Your approved commission balance must reach $100 USD before a payout is released, and we process one payout per calendar month. Balances under $100 automatically roll over to the next cycle. There is no enrollment fee and no minimum number of referrals required to join.
Can I refer myself or buy through my own link?
Self-referrals aren't eligible. Your link is for sharing with new customers — referred users must be genuinely distinct buyers, not the affiliate themselves under a different account.
